Korea lifts ban further

Perhaps others have more specific information, but the news reported that 
the South Korean Minister of Culture and Tourism announced yesterday an 
immediate widening of the definition of which kinds of Japanese films can 
be shown in Korea.  Up until then, it was mostly co-productions and films 
which have won awards at the four major film festivals, but now the 
minister said all Japanese films that can be shown to general audiences, 
plus those that have won awards at festivals approved by the IFFPA, can 
now be imported into Korea.  Animated films, however, are exempted from 
this relaxation of restrictions.
