The nearest thing to Kinejapan in Chinese film world that I'm aware of is
Shelly Kraicer's centrally moderated discussion/mailing list, Chinese Cinema
Digest.  It's semi-private, but just email him on shelly at chinesecinemas.org
and ask to be on board.  There seems to be around 100 people on the list
including a lot of academics and journalists specialising in Chinese film
.... even if they don't post very often.
