Sony picks up Kitano's Brother

I don't think this will be a big surprise to anybody, but:

"Sony Pictures Classics has acquired Takeshi Kitanos gangster pic-
ture Brother - currently shooting in Los Angeles - for the US and
Canada, producer Jeremy Thomas has confirmed."
