New Jingi naki tatakai

Toei has announced that it will be producing a new _Jingi naki tatakai_ 
(Battle Without Honor and Humanity) film for the first time in 21 years.  
The original series, directed by Fukasaku Kinji, changed the face of the 
yakuza genre and made way for the jitsuroku sub-genre.  The new film will 
be directed by indie veteran Sakamoto Junji, although the casting--who 
will play Sugawara Bunta's role--has not been decided.
