Ikuno Michiko and Osaka shiro

Hello, 

I am doing some research on Japanese cinema and the Occupation, and I was 
wondering if anybody could recommend some good texts on the period. 

I am particularly interested in getting hold of biographical material on 
Ikuno Michiko and Osaka shiro, the two starlets reputed to have had the first 
full on the lips screen kiss in Japanese film. I suppose I really want to 
find out is how interesting they were as characters. 

Any help or insight, however slight would be gratefully appreciated.
