"neo Asian Documentary"? (E+J)

Here is the announcement for an upcoming screening of some of last year's
most interesting Asian documentaries at Yamagata. They include two films
that received some discussion on KineJapan, The New God and Annyong Kimchee.
New God has been invited to the Forum at Berlin's Film Festival, and will
have a public release through Eurospace this year. There will also be work
from the Taiwanese group Full Shot (which appeared at Yamagata with Hara
Kazuo).

An aside: it looks like Hara Kazuo is finally going to get his feature
fiction film off the ground this spring. I look forward to what he comes up
with; it's been in the works for years.
