Ozu's teenage diary

The Mainichi reported that relatives of Ozu Yasujiro have found the diary 
he kept for about three years from the ages of 14 to 17.  The contents 
apparently reveal interesting episodes such as the fact that Ozu, in the 
midst of taking entrance exams, spent much of his time going to movie 
theaters like the Kinema Kurabu in Kobe.  Apparently, he was that movie 
mad even at 17.

The diary will be published in the Sunday Mainichi magazine for February 
13 (going on sale the 1st).
