This is the first list I've been on that requests an e-mail of introduction, so...

My name's Jason Tenter, I'm 20 and currently waiting to go to university in the Fall.  I very much got into Japanese culture through anime, and then Akira Kurosawa movies, and I joined the list mostly to listen in and learn more.  Also, because I'm trying to find information on the director Kiyoshi Kurosawa, whose work was shown at last year's Toronto International Film Festival, which I wasn't able to attend, sadly (I live in southern Ontario).

I suppose I would consider myself a burgeoning artist and forever a student.
