Unfortunately, the endnotes are missing, so those who can do Japanese may 
want to look at the Japanese version of the essay in Eizogaku 58.

One note: Zigomar was a serial when it was made and released in France, 
but, as with most serials released in Japan, it was reedited into a 
feature for Japanese release.  The subsequent editions released in Japan 
were then less subsequent chapters in the same serial than sequels to the 
first film.
