Dear Christian,
You are so fortunate to be able to see so many of Mizoguchi's films. The
Art Institute of Chicago had a retrospective of some of his films about 2
years ago, but not nearly as many were shown. I was mesmerized by them.
They are so beautiful and poetic. I can't wait for more of them to be shown.
