Betreff: Help requested from the Japanese Database

Hi everyone,

Sorry to bother you all with this request, but are there any Kanji-readers
who would be kind enough to help me out in finding this particular piece of
information by checking in the Japanese Movie Database for me:
http://jmdb.club.ne.jp/

I am doing some research on the director Tetsuji Takechi, and especially
with regard to the origins of the pinku genre and have been getting some
rather contradictory information from the imdb and a Cahiers du Cinema
article from the early 70s with regard to a number of film titles.
The matter in question is a film called ONNA ONNA ONNA MONOGATARI (1964),
which was apparently released in the US as WOMEN... OH, WOMEN! This film is
credited as being an early film by Tetsuji Takechi, and I guess it didn't
make as much of an impact upon its Japan release as DAYDREAM / HAKUJITSUMU,
which is why I'm sure it never even got a release in the States, unless
subsequently as a video release. An entry for Tetsuji Takechi in a Japanese
Encyclopedia for Film a friend has mentioned that this was an alternative
release title for an early film called NIHON NO YORU, no relation to
Oshima's film, I would imagine.
The imdb then goes on to list another film SHIN ONNA ONNA ONNA MONOGATARI
(1964) of the same length and released in the same year, but released in the
US as IT'S A WOMAN'S WORLD and credited to the director Tajiro Tamura, the
only directorial credit for this man who is listed here as having written
Seijun SUZUKI's GATES OF FLESH and STORY OF A PROSTITUTE. This seems a
highly dubious entry to me, and I would be very grateful if someone could
cross check if it is replicated in the JMDB.

Hope someone could shed some light on the matter for me.

Thanks

Jasper Sharp
