Visitor Q

Like Pierre I have some ideas to share about Miike insane picture.

To me, Visitor Q is clearly a japanese version of Pasolini's Theorema : an 
unknown person invades the privacy of a -deconstructed- family. In Pasolini 
masterpiece, the true nature of the family is revealed by a sort of 
mysterious and seductive messiah (Terence Stamp). Here, Visitor Q serves the 
purpose to bring them back together.

The father, son, mother, and sister all end up being transformed by this 
character Q.

I guess america's MPAA will never allow to be seen in the US, and it is sad 
since miike's movie teaches probably more about family affair than hypocrit 
piece of work like "American Beauty", which only praises the good "values" 
underneath a supposedly vicious content!

Hopefully, Visitor Q never takes itself seriously : that's why incest, 
muder, rape (and other unbereable things i prefer not to mention) happen on 
screen.

I forgot the best part : Shungiku Uchida's milky personality...
