[Aaron Gerow]

For those of you interested in contemporary criticism in Japan, the 
critic Higuchi Yasuhito, with the help of Aoyama Shinji and others, has 
started an internet critical forum called boid.net (based on his small 
company "boid" which produced Aoyama's June 12 1998, and the Lost in 
America book).  The number of original critical pieces is still small at 
this time, but there are several taidan on Robert Kramer, "diaries" by 
Higuchi (a critic I definitely respect) and Aoyama, and some debates.  
The site is mostly in Japanese, but there is a Chris Cutler interview in 
English as well.  The site should expand in the future.
