self-introduction

[Mitsuyoshi Yamada]

Dear members of kinejapan,
Let me introduce myself as a new comer to this mailin list.
My name is Yamada Mitsuyoshi. I live in Kamakura city, Japan.
My address itself has a great relationship to the glorious history of Janese
films.
Shochiku Ofuna Satsueijo is not far from my home.
I went to the funerals of Tora san when Tora san (Mr.Atsumi) died.
Ofuna Satsueijo is about to close and the place is to be sold to a Japanese
womens university.
I joined the farewell tour of Ofuna satsueijo.
I work at Yokohama National University International Student Center.
Dr.Gerow is my colleague, but at the same time he is my teacher of film
study.
As a studend I am a regular attendant of his class of Japanes films.
I am going to retire the University at the end of March this year.
I made up my mind, however to continue to study Japanese films under the
guidance of
Dr.Gerow.
My special interest is film music, especially music of Japanese films of
good old days.
I would like to exchange information with anybody who has interest in film
music.
