UZUMAKI is available with engl. subtitles in HK on DVD. You will find it very
easily, for example at www.hivizone.com. I can't tell you if it is
available on
VCD.

Haven't seen SENNEN-TABITO yet, but the others are well worth trying on VCD.
PERFECT EDUCATION starrs Naoto Takenaka whom I like a lot as actor and
director.
The story about him kidnapping a young woman to find true love is pretty
interesting.

SHARK SKINMAN pp. is regarded by many fans as a "cool" movie, a little
weird, but fun.
The japanese DVD has engl. subtitles but is too expensive compared to the
HK-VCD which
has a good picture quality. 

TOMIE is a horror movie which received some positive fan reviews. Personally I
find it boring, far inferior to THE RING. But then, I don't care too much for
horror movies anyway, so you might want to give it a try.
