It was announced that a completed script by the late Kurosawa Akira,
entitled "Umi wa mite ita," will finally brought to the screen through
the megaphone of Kumai Kei. This will be the second Kurosawa script,
following Ame agaru, to be filmed posthumously. The film about women in
the Fukugawa pleasure quarters in the Edo era is based on a Yamamoto
Shugoro story and will star Shimizu Misa. Nikkatsu and Sony Pictures
will produce it.

Apparently, at the news conference, Nikkatsu president Nakamura Masaya
said there is a plan to move the company's studio from it's long-time
home in Chofu to Yokohama. Anyone know any specifics about that?
