Japanese Devils

Last Sunday at the Toronto Film Festival, I saw a fascinating though  
horrorifying documentary called Japanese Devil (Riben Guizi) directed by
former Shindo Kaneto assistant director Matsui Minoru, concerning Japanese
war atrocities in China. Clocking in at almost three hours the film
featuring a series Japanese veterans expounding in gory detail about their
deeds. I'm fascinated to know what kind of reaction this film has received
if it has been released.  If it hasn't, does anyone know if it's going to be
released?
