Somai Shinji

Dear list-members,

I have become used to get the latest news on Japanese cinema through this 
list, but since the next piece of (sad) information in yesterday's paper 
has not been on it yet I thought I had better pass it along. Somai Shinji 
(1948), film director of 'Seirafuku to kikanju', 'Taifu Kurabu' and 
'Ohikkoshi' fame, passed away last weekend due to lung cancer.
