CFP: Boys and Film

CALL FOR PAPERS:  BOYS AND FILM.  Seeking essays for an anthology on
boys and cinema (the companion volume to Sugar, Spice and Everything
Nice: Cinemas of Girlhood, forthcoming from Wayne State U Press).
Editors are seeking essays on any aspect of the relation of boys to
cinema after 1960, textual analysis on the construction of boyhood,
industry studies, reception, etc.  Please submit abstracts and CVs by
September 24th.  Essays will not be due until June 2002.
