There is a scene in Ah Haru I have never forgotten: at the beginning of the
film, when Koichi Sato (Big Lips) has fallen asleep, Yuki Saito tucks him
in, and then, before pulling the sheet completely, bites her husband's belly
in a sort of desperate sensuous call.
I wondered whether this scene reflected the psychological and physical state
wives of salary men were in?
Though Ah Haru is a quite mundane film (but with a great cast), I confess I
never quite forgot that very powerful flash scene!
