Not a silly question at all, and one that I can't answer with any assurity.
Actually I thought the exact same thing about the credits to "Koya no dacchi
waifu." Most definitely not original, and not even sure if they are meant to
play over the footage they do.

Now I'm doubly disappointed knowing the VHS release is letterboxed. I guess
I need to look out for it next week. As Roland says "Joji no Rirekisho" is
also cropped but I think the film wasn't shot in 'scope; at least the
presentation wasn't so ruinous. ie. it was watchable though still
disappointing.
