Mitsuhiro Yoshimoto and I will be speaking at the Design and Culture 
Study Group on Saturday, July 20th, starting at 1 pm. Both talks will be 
in Japanese and will take place on the 6th floor of the Tokyo University 
(Hongo) Shakai Joho Kenkyujo. Mitsu said he'll probably talk about film 
studies as a discipline. I'll probably talk about contemporary cinema and 
the "detached style."
