Just to note that the official international title of "Subarashii akujo" 
is LA FEE DIABOLIQUE.  It was certainly available on video in Japan in 
the mid-1990s so I suspect one could still find it in rental stores or 
second hand video shops.

In the early 1960s, Takemitsu also composed the soundtracks for Narusawa 
Masashige's BODY (Ratai) starring Saga Michiko, Onchi Hideo's THE CALL 
OF FLESH (Jotai) starring Dan Reiko and Sugawa Eizo's BEAST ALLEY 
(Kemonomichi) starring Ikeuchi Junko among many other films.  But 
Michael has nailed the right film for you with DIABOLIQUE.
