Shakespeare in Japan

An interesting question from off the list:



Dear Professor Nornes,
I am writing an essay on Shakespeare on film in Asia and I wondered if 
you know of any Shakespeare related Japanese films other than 
Kurosawa's  (There's also an animated Ranma 1/2 Romeo and Juliet and Oh 
My Goddess Midsummer Night's Dream and a Macbeth video game, but that's 
all I know of).
