Just a reminder for those in Japan that the Shiritsu Tantei Hama Maiku 
series will be beginning tonight, July 1, at 10pm on Nihon TV. As has 
already been mentioned on the list, the series will feature not only the 
character made famous by the Hayashi Kaizo films (and starring Nagase 
Masatoshi) but also the unique device of having each episode directed by 
a different director, most of whom are from the film world, such as 
Aoyama Shinji, Yukisada Isao, and Ogata Akira. It will be interesting to 
see how each director approaches the subject.

Tonight's episode is directed by Ogata, known mostly for directing 
Dokuritsu Shonen Gasshodan.
