Tufts University, Department of German, Russian, & Asian languages &
Literatures
Lecturer or Visiting Professor (rank open) in Japanese Culture and Film
Studies, 2002-03. One-year appointment with possibility of renewal.
Responsibilities include: teaching 2 courses per semester in Japanese
culture / film / media and possibly Film Studies; involvement in the
Japanese Program and participation in the development of the Film Studies
minor program.
Required: native or near-native fluency in Japanese and English. PhD in Film
Studies with specialization in Japanese cinema preferred, but other Japanese
and film related fields will be considered; evidence of teaching excellence
at college level. ABD's considered;
