Sorry about "materialistic" topic. I posted my question at Asian
Cinema Discussion earlier but nobody seems to react there.

Could anyone confirm if this DVD is really so bad as if taken from the VHS
source? Or is it more like because of a 1976 film?

As for the Panorama Entertainment "Avalon" DVD -- it was excellent.
