Misora Hibari title query J+E

[Bernardi-Buralli]

I believe some people on the list have done work on Misora Hibari--can
anyone tell me if there is an acknowledged English translation of the film
title "Aozora tenshi"????? ?(1950)? An acquaintance has asked me this
as he's doing some work involving the title. Has anyone done work in English
involving the film, or come across a translation of the title?

BTW since I'm making a request I should add (I don't think I ever did this,
mea culpa) some brief intro info. I teach Japanese and film at the
University of Rochester in upstate NY and research and publish on (and
enjoy...) Japanese film. My most recent major publication is "Writing in
Light: The Silent Scenario and the Japanese Pure Film Movement" (Wayne State
UP, 2001).
