Which in a way takes us back to the question of impact on Japanese films, we
were sort of ignoring a couple of 800 pound gorrillas, namely RING and The
Matrix Trilogies. RING and it's success here in the states are more
significant to the industry than the currently discussed three films.

There's been some discussion of the Matrix and "anime" influences on the
list already.
