Another remake...

but there just might be a glimmer of hope with this remake. The producer who bought the remake 
rights is Sam "Evil Dead" Raimi. He is having Takashi Shimizu direct it. And the story is with an 
American couple in Japan who get caught up in th"Grudge". They plan to play with culutral differences 
and alienation along with the supernatural threat. As one preson I know from the Japanese 
productin crew explained to me, "If you see a ghost, how can you go to the police to explain when you 
can't speak the language?" Surprised to hear about Gellar being cast as they were originally going to 
go with lesser known leads in order to keep the budget down.
