Ozu DVDs

I just got Vol. 2 of the Shochiku series -- and once again, these DVDs  (while 
not, perhaps, perfect) make the films look better than I ever really imagined 
possible.

The new Criterion "Tokyo Story" looks pretty good -- but only if one manually 
adjusts one contrasts level WAY down (half of normal on our TV).  The 1982 
documentary about Ozu "I Lived But" (included in the Criterion set) is a 
special treat -- and looks quite good.
