The 8th Annual
Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival
November 24-28, 2004

Strong programming and deep roots attract a super-hyphenated tribe 
while the
festival keeps a year-round presence with screenings of Thai epics,
homegrown debuts or mad jolts from Japan."

We are looking for features, shorts, videos, documentaries, comedies,
animation, obscure experimental films with or without sound, complex
political rants, ironic chop-socky kung-fu flicks, deconstructivist
mockumentaries, minimalist Generasian X slacker dramas, and anything 
else
that is brilliant, creative, weird, or just plain entertaining.

The work we show is ideally independently produced with an Asian/Asian 
North
American in a key creative role. Works of special interest to Asian
audiences will also be considered. We encourage submissions from 
first-time
and emerging directors. Student films are welcome.

DEADLINE: June 1, 2004 (postmark)
ENTRY FEE: $10* (U.S. dollars outside Canada).
*Entry fee waived if postmarked before May 1.
