SCMS vs AAS

This may just be a fluke since AAS and SCMS are being held on exactly 
the same days in different parts of the country. People had to choose. 
I happen to be going to AAS since I was asked to respond to a 
non-cinema panel. But since I haven't been to AAS since 1998, I will be 
interested in what kind of "non-cinema" atmosphere there is.

But I would like to ask some of the SCMS panel participants: why did 
you pick SCMS over AAS?
