Shimizu (was Re: HKIFF)

That was a great moment when Inoue-san was acknowledged. I
heard she's half Dutch? Before the screening I didn't
quite catch on to what that performance art group was
doing -- striding around the audience carrying tape
players in vintage bags, playing the music that would
accompany the film. The post-screening performance by the
orchestra (what name did they go under?) was rousing.

I do some work for FILMeX, and directors Hayashi-san and
Ichiyama-san were  pleased with the success of the Shimizu
program. I was told that at HKIFF, the program will be
slightly expanded from 10 films to 14 or 15?
