What an unlikely combination, eh?

I thought I would note two upcoming events at Waseda.

Adachi Masao will be leading a teach-in on the Middle East situation 
tomorrow in front of the statue of founder Okuma. It starts at 4:30, 
and I have no idea what they'll do if it rains!

Producer Yamanouchi Shizuo, will speak about Ozu on June 24 (Thursday) 
at 4:20. Room 201, Building 14.  (I believe the Econ school is 
sponsoring it.) He produced Ozu's last film, as well as a doc on the 
director.  Filmography is below.

Finally, the Shinoda exhibit is up at the Enpaku. It's nothing special. 
Posters, stills, trophies and a few scripts. Only worth visiting if 
you're at the library researching and need to stretch your legs.
