Research projects or publications:I am curerently planning a
dissertation on the international reception of Japanese film, and
reactions to this reception within Japan. I am considering covering the
careers of Ozu and Kitano within this.

Interests with regard to Japanese film and moving image media: I am
studying for an MA in cinema, and lived in Japan for three years.
