Dear KineJapanners,
Hara Kazuo will be visiting the Boston area early next week for screenings
of his films at Harvard. The organizers are looking for a translator or two
to interpret for Hara during two classroom visits: Monday 1 Nov and Tues 2
Nov from 2:40 to 4:00. A screening of Extremely Private Eros: Love Song
1974 will precede the classroom visit. There will be modest remuneration.
Hara visited my class in Irvine a few days ago, and I can attest to his
generosity and care as a speaker. It made interpreting a very simple
matter. His affable nature made the experience a great one for all in the
room.

Thank you,
Jonathan
