Speaking of announcements, I'm keen to see the docs at Yamagata, and I'll be in Japan tomorrow for a couple of weeks (a new baby boy! I missed the birth). Yamagata is pretty far from Hadano, isn't it?

  Here is an announcement about the next event at neo neo-za. That's the theater I mentioned before, the one run by former Ogawa Pro producer Fuseya Hiroo. neo neo came out of a internet mail magazine that Fuseya edits by the same name. The theater is micro size. Maybe it's now Japan's smallest movie theater. He asks people around town to act as programmer and they choose the films, usually inviting the director(s). The event below is organized by the programmer for the Film Center (I love the synopsis for Micro no Sekai, a beautifully shot film). They show the films, and then they bring out food for talk, drink, eat sessions. It's quite nice, and the food is good. Check it out.
