New PhD Program in Asian Literatures, Cultures, and Media at the University
of Minnesota

The department of Asian Languages and Literatures at the University of
Minnesota is pleased to announce that we are presently recruiting the first
class of graduate students for our new PhD program in Asian Literatures,
Cultures, and Media.  Information about the program and how to apply is
available at our website www.all.umn.edu <http://www.all.umn.edu/> , or
from
the Director of Graduate Studies, Michael Molasky (molasky at umn.edu).  In
order to be considered for university-wide fellowship competitions,
students
need to apply by December 3, 2004; the deadline for all applications is
January 12, 2005.  We expect to fund all students we admit.  Please let
your
best students know of this opportunity.
