Eigei Best Ten (E+J)

Eiga geijutsu just announced the results of their critics' poll of the
best ten films of 2004. The Eigei poll is usually different--and often
much more interesting--than the Kinejun poll. The best ten issue will
go on sale on January 29th, so check that out for the actual vote
tabulations and the worst ten list (one quirk of the Eigei best ten is
that worst votes are subtracted from the best vote total of a
film--that I bet is why Nobody Knows finished in third, since there is
a core out there in Japan that does not like Koreeda's films).

1) Yuda (Zeze Takahisa)
2) Chi to hone (Sai Yoichi)
3) Dare mo shiranai (Koreeda Hirokazu)
4) Shimozuma monogatari (Nakajima Tetsuya)
5) Niwatori wa hadashi da (Morisaki Azuma)
6) Inuneko (Iguchi Nami)
7) Tamamono (Imaoka Shinji)
8) Iden & Tity
9) Koisuru yochu (Iguchi Noboru)
10) Riarizumu no yado (Yamashita Atsuhiro)
