Tampopo

[Aaron Gerow]

Has anyone tried to show Tampopo on film recently? Yale's student film 
society wants to show it this coming year, but New Yorker, which had 
the US rights, doesn't have them anymore and the Japan Foundation 
doesn't have a print. Itami Productions doesn't seem to have an office 
anymore, so it's unclear who to contact in Japan (Toho distributed it 
in Japan, but they didn't have any rights over it).

Any ideas or information?
