Japanese Sci-Fi films?

Hello my name is Ken Shima and I run an ongoing Japanese film series at the University of Washington in Seattle. I have been a silent reader of this list for some time but have a question which could benefit from group feedback.
 	I am trying to find some reference or recommendations on Japanese Sci-Fi films. Specifically I am interested in films which are outside of the Kaiju genre, and which are available with subtitles as I am showing to a varied group some of whom cannot understand Japanese.
