Hayashi Kaizou contact?

One more (belated) suggestion for contacting directors. Try the Nihon Eiga
Kantoku Kyokai (03-3461-4411). They will not give you a number to call -- 
instead they will give your contact details to the director, together with
your explanation of why you want to meet him. If so inclined, he will then
get in touch with you.

I've done this successfully several times and found the Kyokai staff to be
quite helpful.
