Baruto no gakuen

The news services report that the producers of the film Baruto no
gakuen, about German POWs who formed an orchestra in Japan during WWI,
as well as the publisher of the novelization of the film, have reached
an agreement with novelist Nakamura Akihiko, who charged that the film
and the novelization contained many similarities with his novel,
Futatsu no sanga. In the agreement, the producers and publishers have
agreed to credit Nakamura's novel in the DVD and future book versions,
while Nakamura agreed not to ask for monetary compensation.

As the "contents" industry heats up, I wonder if we'll see more of
these cases.
