THE CATS OF MIRIKITANI

[Aaron Gerow]

The Cats of Mirikitani, a documentary on the homeless artist Jimmy  
Mirikitani--and produced by occasional Kinema Club member Yoshikawa  
Masa--is slowly making the rounds of the US on a small theatrical run  
after some success in New York. This won awards at numerous film  
festivals, including Tribeca and the Tokyo Film Festival, so it is  
worth a look if it comes near you.
