JMDb lessons 2 & 3 - was kanji crib-sheet?

Belated thanks for your help Mark - 
For anyone else going this way, I think the actual string is -
"NAME site:cinema.intercritique.com"
By putting in the blank into Google once, I find I can just type 'name' and Windows will prompt me for the rest of the string, which I can then adapt.
On the rare occasions when that site doesn't have it, Googling 'NAME 監督' will frequently find a suitable bilingual page.

Can someone help me further, please?  For example, I'm trying to find how many candidates there would be for 'Musume', shown in Paris in 1926.  IMDb miraculously says there was only one - ever.  But if I put 娘 into JMDb, I seem to get every title that has 娘 anywhere in the title.  Can I limit it ?

The other thing is - why do some pages consistently come up as page-code, and others come up in Japanese?  If I click on 娘 on Gosho's list, I just get code, but other pages are in Japanese.  Is this me or JMDb ?

  I've found that http://cinema.intercritique.com/ seems to have romaji transliterations for all proper names. I can't tell how comprehensive their database is, but I've had good results in the past.


  You can usually get there with one google search by looking for the name in kanji followed by "cinemascape" in the search string. If you want to translate from romanji to kanji, you can search for "NAME site:intercritique.com".
