Dear Colleagues:
As many of you know, this year the NCC established an Image Use Protocol
Task Force to aid users in better understanding the proper protocol for
getting permission and using visual images from Japan in their teaching,
research, and publications.
As part of these efforts the NCC is conducting a survey on the experiences
of colleagues with seeking and using visual images. The survey is contained
on the NCC Website at http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~ncc/imageuse/survey.html.
We encourage anyone with an interest in visual images to complete that
survey. We will all benefit from sharing our experiences.
Thank you so much,
Victoria Lyon Bestor
