French translation help wanted

I was justing wondering if therre was any native French speaker on the list
who would be able to check a paragraph I translated from an old copy of
Positif and tell me its ok. I need to ensure I retained the nuance of the
origanal, and there's one curious bit of perhaps slang I may have
mistranslated.
