BAUMKUCHEN
U.S. Premiere
Dir. Kensaku Kakimoto
Japan 2006 | 120min | Narrative | Japanese w/ES
This playful series of stories curl around, slip and blend into one another..
It takes viewers in and out of parallel universes where inspiration is found
in a deceivingly compact little book. Meanwhile, the book?s characters are
also finding inspiration in stories of other bookworms in parallel
realities.

Japan/U.S. 2006 | 120min | Documentary | Japanese w/ES
A humorous, insightful glimpse into local grassroots politics in Japan,
