Ikui article at Japan Focus

In the months since my article on Clint Eastwood's Letters from Iwo 
Jima and Flags of Our Fathers appeared on Japan Focus, that internet 
publication has run a couple of articles on the films, including pieces 
by Ian Buruma and David McNeill.

A new piece, specially written for Japan Focus by the Japanese scholar 
Ikui Eikoh, has just been uploaded at the site:

It is an interesting piece in that Ikui engages in less a textual 
analysis of the two films than a consideration of their reception.
